Need to Add More Guard Card Training Hours?

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE IN-PERSON TRAINING OF Powers to Arrest (3 hours) and Appropriate Use of Force (5 hours) BEFORE PURCHASING THESE CLASSES.

At ASET.Training, we make completing your California Guard Card training easy, flexible, and fully compliant with state requirements. Complete Your Required Training on Time

If you previously purchased the 16-hour Guard Card package or still need specific hours to meet your BSIS (Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) requirements, ASET.Training allows you to choose exactly what you need. Our individual course options give you the freedom to fill in your remaining hours at your own pace.

California law requires:

  • 8 hours of initial training before you can apply for your Guard Card (Powers to Arrest + Appropriate Use of Force must be completed in person).

  • 32 hours of additional training within the first six months of receiving your Guard Card.

  • 8 hours of continuing education each year to maintain your license.
